Sonic Radioboom began in 2012 as Brony Bus Radio, a community radio project created to support the growing UK brony fandom through music, events and friendship.

 

In 2013, the station joined PonyVille Live and rebranded as Sonic Radioboom, expanding its reach while continuing to champion the creative talent within the My Little Pony community.

 

In 2018, SRB became independent once again, establishing itself as Britain's only dedicated independent brony radio station and providing a 24/7 stream of music, community programming and fandom content.

 

Today, Sonic Radioboom is entering a new chapter. While remaining proud of its pony roots, SRB is evolving into a wider fandom network that welcomes gamers, artists, musicians, furries, convention-goers and creators from across multiple communities.
