The Story of Drake Circus Leisure is the timeline of the transformation of Bretonside Bus Station into Drake Circus Leisure is proposing to transform the Bretonside Bus Station to provide an exciting new leisure destination to include:

• an 11 screen cinema

• Approximately 420 car parking spaces will be provided with convenient access.

• Approximately 13 new restaurant units (some of which can be combined) and 1 kiosk will create an exciting mix of leisure activities together with food offers that will complement the existing shopping facilities within Drake Circus and the surrounding streets.

•  large public realm space encourages links from the city centre across the site whilst creating a safe and attractive environment; this also provides access to restaurant units at ground floor level. Public transport will be conveniently located, with bus stops retained on Exeter Street and drop off zones and taxi accommodation in close proximity to the main accesses to the site.

the movie follows Bretonside from its last day as a coach station to its first day as a cinema when opened in 2019!
